Since our founding, the guiding pillars of our mission have been Worship, Study, Service, and Community. One of the earliest members of “More Light Presbyterians,” CCP was a leader in the battle to win ordination for our GLBTQ brothers and sisters. We value our studies of contemporary theology and foster and support the small group and individual missions that flow from our study of current social justice issues.

Inspired by meaningful worship, nourished around the communion table, shaped by questioning and deep study of progressive theological and social justice issues, and strengthened by intentional and supportive community, we are called to follow where Jesus leads us in service to our neighbor.
